Your first appointment begins with a detailed consultation to discuss your symptoms, habits, and treatment goals. I’ll also review your medical history, allergies, and any current medications, before physically assessing the strength and activity of your jaw muscles.
Based on this assessment, we’ll identify the areas of the masseter muscles most responsible for clenching and grinding. Your treatment plan will be tailored to reduce tension, protect your teeth, and ease discomfort while maintaining natural jaw function.
As you relax on the treatment couch, I’ll cleanse and mark your skin before carefully injecting small amounts of Botox into the jaw muscles. The procedure is quick, highly targeted, and designed to minimise discomfort.
Once treatment is complete, I’ll assess the area and provide tailored aftercare guidance. You may be advised to avoid heat, strenuous activity, or massaging the area for a short time. We’ll also discuss when to expect results and arrange follow-up care – if necessary – to review your progress.

Does the Treatment Hurt?
